Handcrafted around 1996, this elegant gold-mounted violin bow was made by the distinguished English bow maker John Clutterbuck. Executed in the classic Hill style, it reflects the craftsmanship and attention to detail for which the English tradition is renowned.

John Clutterbuck began his apprenticeship with W.E. Hill & Sons in 1964, training under some of the finest craftsmen of the period. He remained with the firm as a bow maker until 1971, before establishing his own reputation as one of Britain’s respected contemporary archetiers.
